Programming is very common to use tabs, they help to transform a set of data in an array that can later be manipulated much more easily.

In PHP, when working with tabs the most common methods used are IMPLODE and EXPLODE and it is about them that we will discuss below.

EXPLODE

This method works by dividing a string from the separator, this way it is much easier to work it. Check out the example below:

<?php
$str = “value1.value2″;
$array = explode(‘.’, $str);
echo (“First Value is ” . $array[0]);
echo (“. Second value is ” . $array[1]);
?>

From the character “.”, values in the array are divided, if there were more values the array size would be larger.

IMPLODE

nstead of that makes EXPLODE, the method implode joining various parts of an array by a separator character entered in the same method. As an example:

<?php
$array = array (“value1″, “value2″, “value3″);
$var1 = implode (‘.’, $array);
echo ($var1);
?>

The value that will be printed “value1.value2.value3”. There is also an alias for the method can be used to implode the JOIN.
