When a Project is finished, the test period is essential to evaluate if all implemented items are really working rightly. One of those tests are called Black Box Test and is about it that we’ll talk now.

The Black Box test seeks evaluate if the implemented routines are agreeing with the client specification.

In general, the test validate if the information that has been given as a result of determined operation is really the right information.

Let’s see a praticle exemple:

In one screen we got two fields. When we click in one determined button, an addition of values that are inside the fields is accomplished. The Black Box test will validate if the addition of the two values are indeed the expected. Let’s picture this way: If the insert information in the field is one and the number two in the other, the test will be accomplished with success only if the result of this operation, when clicking on the button, the result were the number three. On the Black Box test the concern are only with the final results and not with the middle terms. So, for the test, doesn’t matter which code or routine are implemented for the exhibited result. What really matters is the correct result in the operation end.

The tests are essentials and need to validate all the actions and implemented routines on application in order to secure that all the data are indeed returning to the right results. With this tests been accomplished, the project delivery are made with much more quality and so the WEB application will be ready to effectively supply all the needs.
