Creating Unique Keys on forms Unique Key is a field that can’t have repeated values on the table. In general, the same value in on register can’t repeat itself when this field is indicated as a Unique Key. On Scriptcase, you can easily configure these items using the configuration of a form, for example. To make this configuration is very simple.

Accessing the properties of the form, select the option “Unique Key”.

On the screen that’ll open, you can select which fields will be utilized and validate as Unique Key.

Now that the fields are selected, the process becomes very simple. Every time that a determined value is inserted on this fields and this value already exists on the table where the data will be stored, a message will appear and it will not allow the insertion of a record with duplicated information.

Make the test and configure this option in a form. Using it you’ll avoid problems related to duplicate registers, for example, so this way you guarantee much more quality to your application.
